2005 fs650c valvetrain noise

Hello all! I am new to the husaberg family. I just purchased a 2005 fs650c and the valves are making more noise than I am used to hearing. As the rpm's rise the noise seems to lessen, but I am wondering if these motors are a bit rough at idle? or should I check the valve clearances before I ride it.

Check valve clearances and cam chain and pull the oil plug. Check for excessive metal on the magnet. May be a sign that follower bearings are beginning to fail.
