2005 Fe650e front fork length

In the process of buying a 2005 Fe650e, it was advertised as a 2004 Fe650e and then the owner stated it was a FS not Fe. Vin search shows it is a 2005 Fe650e. I plan to ride it off road, but it has been set up with supermoto wheels and aftermarked rear shock.

The owner measured the front fork length at apporx. 925mm. I just want to confirm that the owner before them did not convert the front suspension over to a FS. If anyone has the fork lengths of the Fe vs. FS please share. I am waiting on the current owner to send me the tripple clamp dimensions 17mm for FS vs. 20mm for Fe (I believe but correct me if I am wrong).

My 06 Fs650 conversion has approximate fork length of 927mm. The forks are from an 05 Ktm Smr450. Fork tube length and springs are shorter than my enduro. It also has the different radial caliper holder. From what I know they are the same as the FS forks but with different spring rate(46 instead of 48). And they have preload adjusters.

My 06 Fe forks (same length as 05) are approx. 939mm in length.
My 07 Fe 550 are approx. 948mm. They are supposed to be 10mm longer in 07 than 06.
These were quick measurements in inches I converted. I may be off by a few mm but probably not by much.
05 Triples are 22mm.

Im actually looking to trade my 06 Fe forks for Fs.

The easiest quick check on FS vs FE forks would be the way the brake caliper mounts.

FS is radial style, FE is normal dirt bike style

Even with an FE style brake some previous owner could have done work to the FE forks, like shortened them, and added stiffer springs.
