what weight is the bike set up for stock? and what if anything should i adjust for a 235 pounder thank you 8)

set up

Jumper,
From memory the suspension is set up for a rider with all the gear on of between 70 & 80 kgs, I dont know what that equates to in your lingo? I am aprox 83/84 kgs with my gear on but will leave it as is.

I would think you would want at least .46kg/mm fork springs and a PDS 4 for a shock spring. I am only 195lbs and this is what I use in my 02 650 and 01 520MXC. I have had several 230+ lb riders ride my bikes and comment on how well they work.

If you weigh 235 plus gear, you need .50 front springs.
If you are an aggressive and fast rider, .52 would be better.

You also should change the rear spring.

I put 48's in the front and a PDS8 in the rear. With gear I'm over 275lbs and it is set up well for the riding I do. But thats woods riding not desert bombing. Maybe if I did more high speed whoops or jumps I'd go stiffer; but for now it seems to be just right for me.
