Hi guys, I'm wanting to have a dual setup on my 450 Enduro bike. I've looked through the forum and can't really find the info I'm after. I want some info on what I'd need to do to convert to supermoto.
1, will I need to alter the suspension?
2, brakes?
3, chain and sprockets?
4, what wheels will fit?
If anyones done this, or has any knowledge, I'd be forever grateful.

Convert to do what? Play ride/just want to see if you like it or more serious riding/competition?

Play ride
1. No (fork will dive under braking and bike will be soft and "spungie" in corners)
2. No (depending on how hard you are on brakes.. High corner speed is da .... :p )
3. No (could be nice to have a top speed closer to 200km/h... (ca 124mph)

Serious riding
1. Yes (way better handling, less dive and tracks better in corners)
2. Yes (fading will be less of a problem or completely gone) 4 pot caliper -03 and earlier and 6 pot from -04 fits directly to your fork
3. Yes (otherwise you will get really boooored in the straights...)

4. Any 17" Husaberg wheels between -03 to -08 (maybe even -09 to -13?)
(KTM wheels from -02? to ?)

If the wallet is big enough I'd go double up on everything. SM-wheels, SM-brakes, SM-fork and shock.

regards

/Nick
