Just changed over my dirt wheels to sumo wheel How do I reset the speedo for 17" wheel Nothing in my owners manual When the speedo lights up it shows 2205 for a few seconds and then goes away 1825 is the # for sumo wheels?

Thanks
Frank

If it's like mine. 2011 570 you unplug it then it will let go wheel size (WS) and change to 2205. Mine 21" is 2205 and 17" is 1882 Good luck . numbers were wrong I change them again thank you Kayeffess

Apparently the earlier speedos (including 04's) require an extra cable to change the wheel diameter.
Went round and round with this a few years ago.
There used to be a thread about it on here somewhere.
I tried all the usual powerdown and up sequences holding various buttons before being informed i needed the program cable.

Found this on the forum for an 03 Still no luck

Locate the 3-wire connector coming out of the trip computer. On the computer side there will be a black wire, follow it through the connector, it will connect to a black wire with a brown tracer; clip this wire and tape off both ends. (Don't worry, there is no power in this wire, it is just a pull-down to ground for certain circuits inside the computer.) This will enable the hidden functions of your trip computer â€â€

YES Figured it Out

Black wire was cut on three way plug

With the display showing engine hours, press and hold the "mode" button untill you switch toa different menu.

Cycle through the options with the button till "WS" flashes. change the wheelsize with the + and - buttons to the circumference of your 17" front wheel (I set it at 1882) then press "mode" again, then hold the "mode" button till it returns to normal display.
