I have little knowledge of husabergs and seen a machine in New Zealand (where I'm from) that is described a 2004 550fc with CR gearbox and electric start. here is the link http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =266898814 . i am 49yo and have come to the conclusion that I've outgrown my kdx200 and its time to upgrade. A 550cc thumper with 56hp and only weighing 103kg and 930 seat height sounds very appealing. What should I be wary of? I am concerned that an MX bike may have a tall 1st gear and the flywheel may be too light and consequently a snatchy power delivery. Any advice or comments would be most appreciated. Barry, New Zealand. (newbie)

well i would say 110kg with fuel but the rest is true. essentially it has the same first four gears out of six as the enduro machine so your ratios are right for enduro/green laning.

the flywheel issue is easy to get over. Just contact me with a PM and I can probably swop you out for the heavier enduro one. so then you'll have an enduro engine with two gears missing....sorted!

i would have thought the perfect bike for anyone over 15 stones and ace for anyone fast and furious under that!
