2004 FC450 vs FE450

Hello. I am new in this forum and about to buy a Husaberg. Can anyone help me? My friend is selling me a 2004 FC450, and its very cheap. What are the differences in FC450 and FE450?
Can i put a headlight on FC?
The FC engine which im about to buy is 57hours ago rebuilt, how often do it need rebuilding?

The differences between FC and FE:
Rear wheel; FC 19", FE 18"
Suspension; FC stiffer, FE softer
Exhaust FC; - open silencer, bigger diameter of front pipes, FE - road legal silencer, smaller diameter of front pipes
Carb; FC FCR41, FE FCR39
Electric; FC no lights, FE lights
Starting; FC kickstarter, FE kickstarter + electric starter
Transmission; FC 4 speed, FE 6 speed
Crankshaft; FC lighter, FE heavier
Flywheel; FC smaller/lighter, FE bigger/heavier

If you want lights in FC you need to swap from FE 450/550/650: light wiring harness, stator, flywheel, ignition cover, lights, handlebar CEV switch, battery or big capacitor.

Thank you for answer. I´m happy tell that i became a happy husaberg owner!
I´m just curious, what parts do i need if i would put 6gears in my fc450?
I looked at the spare parts manual, and if i got it right i would only need 5th and 6th idler gear to main shaft. Is it really that simple?

If memory serves the 04 FC450 was equipped with titanium valves and the Fe 450 had steel valves.
Yes, to have a 6 speed box you only add the two gears to the mainshaft. the layshaft has them on it.I think you also need a shift fork and you have to remove the spacers.

According to the spare parts manual there seems to be only one type of the shifting forks. When the time comes that i have to open the engine and change bearings, piston etc, i will try to change it to 6 speed box if only find the necessary parts at affordable price.

Does anybody know what is the difference between the crankshaft of FC and FE?
How to distinguish between the two crankshafts?
Maybe someone has a photo of the crankshaft from the FC 450?

I have pics of the FC crankshaft and I don't see any differences? But there are some differences. They have different parts number of crankshaft and balancer shaft.
Can anyone help?

The whole day I look at these crankshafts and what I see.
FC crankshaft from the photo is from 2005 and not 2004.
Why? I noticed that in 2005 the 450/550 models appeared the hole in the crankshaft.
Probably changed the way of making oil passage.
That is why Taffy wrote about the various holes in the crank pin.
