Fell in love with a husa 650 supermotard.
1 previous owner, showroom condition, 100% original,
Cons : way to expensive for using it. It will maybe keep its value when treated as a collectors item but that's not the plan. It's in the same price league as a way younger bike

I saw her and she talked to me. She's more appealing to me than a modern bike.

Are parts still available?
Are they reliable when taken care for (I am not a racer and will not abuse it when cold. Iprobably not even when warm. I do not mind changing oil and use only premium stuff.

So, how are they to live with?

You say expensive

Not everyone considers these bikes collector pieces
What price exactly are you speaking of?
How much exactly?

The brand is extinct
Some parts remain, some parts do not remain
Many things can be worked around

As far as living with these bikes, it’s relative to you
If you treat it as a collector piece, and you have the room in your museum - should be easy
Riding the bike?
Follow the maintenance schedule and the bike will be fine until it isn’t, at that point it’s likely just a matter of money and time until you can have it running again, but you might have to get resourceful

You are in Belgium?
At least you are near the source, and you should have an easier time finding spare parts than someone who lives elsewhwere

Nopper

you need to say the year mate! what year ias it?

we can get the spares you want for them.

Hi from Greece .I am in love too with this bike from the 1st day i seen it behind the glass in the husaberg dealer at 2004 . I didnot sleep all night and the next day at 8.00 hour i was in the shop .At 11.00 i was on the road to drive it . It was not a bike for once in a week . I Never use it on a track . I was full in love and drive it every day anywhere and this remains the same untill today .If i dont drive it for 2-3 days i am like a junkie without dose completely sick . I have 7 bikes but i dont love any of them . All are just bikes .Dont worry about parts.Always there are solutions for parts from japan or ktm bikes. Thanks god there are many out here cutting husas for parts .I dont buy used parts for this bike but you can do it if you like.My heart broke every time i see a bike like this in parts for sale. The only parts you cannot find is new plastics but always there is the solution of carbon . My son was 2 years old as you see in the photo of 2004 .Before a year bought his husa the black .Its an everyday use bike for him too .He goes to work with husa and after go around for coffee or street racing .Before a week beat a Yamaha tracer 9 at 500 meters .My son was 3 bikes front . If you really love it always find a solution to keep it better like new .There is not a bike like this at 116 kg with 60 hp at the wheel at the global market today .Its the fastest supermoto ever .Dont listen about new 690 ktm with 74 hp .Real hp of ktm is 59 hp at the wheel and 40 kg more than husa .You can guess the results at the road . As for the 6.500 euro its a good price if its like new but i cannot guess the condition.I must see a photo first and know how much hours have done from rebuild .

The bike was never rebuild. It is all original and has 2400kms. I guess that is about 50 hrs.

The Husa life its over 500 hours if you change the single head valve springs with double and change full synthetic oils anf filter AT 5 SUMMER - 10 WINTER HOURS with a good additive inside .I done my first rebuild at 300 hours and i was fully regreat for this .It was better than new inside . Your bike looks ok but is fully stock.Check this too .The owner say it gives together all stock parts for use in the road ( lights and etc ) and its full extra . Only 10 hours from fully rebuild .

HUSABERG FS650E FORCE EDITION set up for Super Moto. License plates normal and fees paid and all spare parts to be on the road again. (Counter, traffic lights, mudguard, etc.)It has full-body Akrapovic Titanium, STM single-track, actian Brembo brake drum, 6-piston Beringer, 5.5-inch rim with rear center (the mother with center is also given), chain pulley (not to be in the rubber due to 5.5-inch rim), second saddle, custom metal overflow container and base under the saddle that carries the battery and the fuse box..The engine has been overhauled at Paragini with a new piston, double valve springs and a new crank bearing with less than 10 hours of operation.

If you rev it real nice all the time, the 04 crank will most likely destroy your crankshaft main bearings.

Maybe.I suscribed to you what happened to me with every day use and every night street racing .

If €6500 is no problem for you - I say you will not feel sorry for the money when the throttle is open

The Ti Akra Exhaust and big blue brakes are expensive accessories - there is much pride of ownership to have there

Why wait?
You could be smoking a rear tire today!
