2003 FE400 Wont kick start???

hi,

My bike has just had a few parts installed by a mechanic including, auto decomp, sledge mod, stronger starter and few other small bits but now it wont start on the kick start.
Mechanic that fitted the parts doesnt want to help now!
It starts on the elctric start but it genrally has to have the choke pulled out but only managed to start one on the kick start and that was after about 15 kicks and me really going for it.



It used to start 2 or 3rd time on the kick start before.

Any one got any ideas what it could be?

i have tried to adjust the fueling but hasent made it any better.
is there an easy way to set the fueling correctly and also in the manual it says about 2 screws but i can onlu see one?

Any help is much appreciated.

i'm going to break my rule of staying out of this stuff to just say: when you learn to speak civily to people you might get help but you have left it too late. a man with a small problem after a job doesn't have the right to castigate anyone. they only have the right to ask and indeed to recieve support/help/warranty to see if it can't be - in your case - made to start with the boot.

but i'm older than you and i'll be buggered if the opening statement (note it wasn't a request) isn't one berating me. and guess what, here you are again rubbishing someone without thinking. you're actually getting further from help not nearer. you can't really take it to someone else coz they didn't do the job and anyway, they won't know what i did. then you'd also have to pay and you just want to sell the bike now.

so you're in a tight spot. all very unnecassary and i await the rightiousness to continue, you know....i paid the coin.....i know my rights....snot fair....

i know what a few of the good guys here will say.

you really need a lesson in manners.
