2003 FE 400 Spark Plug

Hi,

Just wondering if any one can tell me the size of the socket for spark plug as i cant find it anywhere in my owners manual and it seems a bit tricky to get to it. So wana make sure i have the right size so im not rounding it of etc.

found using site provided search function as seen above.
actually, the made wrench could stand to be longer than 65mm. i'd try to make it at least70-75.

so the answer is 5/8, but you will find only a very skinny 5/8 will work due to the closeness of the cam follower shafts.

only thing is.... the rubber socket inside is great for pulling the plug out, but holds on to the plug too tight when you want to pull the socket back out (after installing the plug). The extension pulls out of the socket and the socket cant be grabbed except with pliers. So i use pliers.........

thanks all for the info and i have just changed my profile so hopefully it all works now.
will probably just get a 5/8 socket and grind it down to fit in.

My bike is going into taffys when i get back from snowboarding so hopefully will be all sorted when it gets back from him and feal great.
