hello every one, im rebuilding my 2003 650 engine, in replace my worn bearings i need to remove the lower cam chain sproket of the balance weight shaft. i have tryed heating it up and using a puller but is tighter than a ducks ***, anyone know of any tools i can use or tips to get it on. thanks al

for that i would use two prize bars that are a foot long and ith a little 1" toe on the end. get them behind and use the case as a lvere platform.
a VERY good tip is to make sure that one lever is behind the groove for the woodruffe key.
if this isn't working i'd get help to tap the end of the crank with something protecting the end and using a copper hammer.
i'm sure that you've noted that the woodruffe key for the drive gear that sat infront of the sprocket is on a different line to that for the sprocket? yes?
