How long is a piece of string??
It's a bit of a lucky dip with the 03's apparently.
Mines an 03 model FE650 that was built in Dec 02.
It has a mixture of bits from the 02 and the 03 models.
03's were supposed to have the roller mains but mine has balls.
I would say that if it's built in late 02 to early 03 it could still ahve balls but later than that I would assume rollers.
I am rebuilding mine because of a rocker bearing failure and cam damage that put metal throughout the engine.
I also read around the site and thought oh god I better do the mains as well before they fail.
I got it 2nd hand and I've put about 70hrs on it since I've owned it and previous owner had speedo off so god only knows how many it's actually done - another reason for the total rebuild.
The mains were as good as when they came out of their box.
IMHO I think that 110 hrs is nothing and they should last 5 times that but if you read the manual you should have replaced them twice already.
I reckon you've gotta make a judgement call on how you ride it and what on.
If you ride it hard on the tar then change them frequently.
