What exactly has to be changed when doing a 2002 rocker update, is it just the roller bearing or is the entire valve train?

Thanks. Christof Matthys.

The rocker arm up date consists of replacing the 1996-2002 rocker arms with the 2003 rocker arms. The 2003 rocker arms come from Husaberg complete, including bushings, cam follower bearings, and valve adjust screws and locking nuts. You should also replace the cam bearings while in there.

You will have to drill a splash oil hole in the top of each arm just like your 2002 arms have befor installing the 2003 arms.

I recommend that you also replace the timing chain, and the timming chain tensioner slider with the 04 and up parts.

Joe

The part number for the 03 Intake Rocker Arm assembly is 200 330-01

What is the displacement of your 02?

For the 400 the Exhaust Rocker Arm assembly part number is 200 331-01

For the 501,550,and 650 the Exhaust Rocker Arm assembly part number is 200 331-02

See the attached page 26 from the 03 Parts Manual

Joe
