Hi I've got a 2002 husaberg fs650e that will not start , the bike has stood for a year but I have changed petrol and spark plug excerlant spark ! had the carb off and had all jets in a ultrasonic cleaner , checked timing and valve clearances , still not kick over I've tred kicking it and me mates got same bike and he has had ago still no joy
Been at it for 4 days now it seam to be trying but still nothing

Any other

an ultrasonic cleaner isn't the best for cleaning jets, especially when you have solid material clogging the pilot. i like to run a small wire thru and make sure i can see thru the hole. also it does nothing for the choke circuit. does it try to start if you give it a small shot of starter fluid (ether)?
even if your mate has the same bike, does either one of you know how to properly kick a 650 berg?

Yea it's firing with ether, and think we've got the right technique " sit right forward find TDC take past abit kick start back up then decomp about 3" then kick all way down "
But I phone a husaberg dealer and he said tow it behind a car to bumb it witch I have try tonight and it's firing but still not wanting to go so goin check valve clearance again a friend of min said they should be 0.5 ? ( feeler Gaige ) Is that correct ?

Feeler gauge is a bugger to get in there. Use the 1/6 turn. I turn the screw in until it touches the valve. Then I line up a corner of the locknut with the slot on the screw. Hold the locknut and back the screw off 1/6 of a turn ( next corner on the nut). Works for me.

I know this might sound like a stupid qwestion but the plug is sparking off a head bolt but wount spark off the cast alloy head is this normal ?
Me and boss haven a discussion about it any help please
