2002 470/6 2002 470/E

Could anyone tell me the difference between the two bikes? I found the 470/6 is more reliable than the 470/E model is this true? Also what would be the going asking price for this year bike In the USA $?

The FC470/6 is a kick start six speed,19 " rear wheel and the FX470e is an electric start as well and six speed,18" rear wheel with key switch and wired for lights.
We have examples of both here and the FX470 works well,the FC470 is a nice bike and one day I am going to figure out how to start the ---h

I bought an FX470E 4 months ago for $2500. The previous owner had done all the upgrades needed (valve train, stator, starter) except for the counterbalancer, Rekluse, FCR carb with hot start, and it also was street-licensed with a DS kit. I don't know if this was the best deal ever, but I feel like I got a good one and maybe this will give you an idea of ballpark value. I've only put a couple of rides on my bike but I've never had a problem. I absolutely love this bike.

I owned a '01 FC470 and the differences are as fore mentioned.My experience was a positive one but I only put about 60 or so hours on it and it was all MX racing or practicing.
Good snappy engine but needed some jetting to get rid of the unwanted flameouts.
Turned very well and felt lighter then it's actual weight.Suspension was typical WP meaning it needed massaging but it tracked straight and exhibited good manners in spite of the unbalanced stock setup.
