Hey guys. Lost interest in this thing and would like to pass it along to someone who needs parts or would like to spend a little time getting it running. I have a thread here somewhere regarding this bike.
Below is a copy of my CL ad.
Pretty nice condition Husaberg FE650E, 6-speed, 60 HP, kick and electric start monster--unfortunately it only runs when it feels like it.
I rode it around my yard a few days ago and it ran great. Transmission and clutch work excellent.
Went to ride it again and it would not start--period.
It has excellent compression, is getting gas but the spark is weak.
The previous owner installed a new stator about 9 months ago.
Installed a new battery a few days ago.
Auto-decomp is not functioning and won't let the e-start spin the engine over like it needs to start.
Fork seals are weeping.
Seat has a small tear in seam on top. Have a new seat cover but it doesn't match the current graphics on the bike.
This bike does have factory Husaberg keyed ignition switch, hi/lo beam switch and a rear brake light switch already installed so it may have been street legal at some point in it's life.
*EDIT* I removed the rocker cover to have a look at the decomp system and found pitting on the intake lobe of the camshaft. I bought a cherry used camshaft and new decomp mechanism. Needs to be installed.The valve springs, roller rockers, cam chain and cam sprocket all look great.
The rocker cover and exhaust system are currently off the bike.
I paid $2000.00 for this bike and $230.00 to have it shipped to me. I'm tired of messing with it.

Also not mentioned above is I bought an R6 starter that will go with it.
The pics are obviously before I removed the rocker cover and exhaust, radiator etc.
