I have a 2001 fe650. When I pulled the drain plug, I found there was no oil screen. Was this present on all 2001 models? Do I need the screen if I have a magnetic plug?

get the screen. the reason it is prolly not there is because the oem drain plug did not have a magnet, maybe the magnet keeps you from using the screen so you might need a new drain plug. and a magnet in the inside of the screen is worthless
