2001 FE400E Flooding Issue with Dellorto Carb

If I lay my bike over /flip my bike and stall the engine, it is impossible to start. What I've found is fuel leaks into the inlet elbow prior to the carby, it does not need much to prevent starting. So I have to remove seat, air filter and soak up fuel with a rag then reassemble. It generally starts within 2-3 kicks after that.

Is this a common problem with the bike or just the dellorto carby. How can this be fixed or not?

Dellorto is made that way ;-)
Full throttle and kill button pressed in, kick 3-4 times and it will start.
