I know this is a Husaberg forum but I was wondering if anyone knew much about the te 410. Would this bike be too much bike for an inexperienced rider. I am looking for a bike for my wife to ride and was considering a Kawasaki Kdx 220 but I found a good deal on this bike and I think it is a better bike. I was wondering if it would have a smooth power delivery and be happy going slow. I know my 02 fe501 does not like to putt around (it gets hot if I do not keep up a good pace) I would appreciate any opinions and information on this.

Husky 410 is smooth power with no real hits in the powerband and has plenty of low end. Make sure she can touch the ground ok and start it though.

1 vote for the KDX. It is a fantastic first bike. Parts are readily available and they can be lowered without too much expense.

The 410 wouldn't be too powerful for her, but it is much heavier, taller and harder to start than a KDX. I'd go for the KDX, my friends wife has one and loves it.
