2000 FC501/Worst Exhaust Design

My bike has the worst designed exhaust. It is exposed to melt everything it comes in contact with. Like your boot and leg. You might have to go into the seventies it find a worse design. Anyway, rode at the local track today, had a good time.

Ouch your local Cycle gear has exhaust header wrap for $19.99 that a lot cheaper than your boots.
Start from the back and wrap forward. This will save your boot and gear plus your carb will like it too.

Yes, I will pick some up at the local dealer this week, before my next ride (I've been putting up with this since April). I just burned my leg today and it ticked me off. Overall fun bike, but I will look into a newer model this winter.
