So i have a guy that wants to trade me a 2000 Husaberg 501 for a snowmobile i have. Im trying to sell the sled for $1500, haven't had much luck getting rid of it. I don't know anything about these bikes, and haven't been able to find much info on them. The guy that owns it says it way too much bike for him, he also says it runs great. One of my concerns is value of the bike, i has no clue how much these things go for. Another thing he mentioned is that it doesn't have a title and he told me offroad bikes don't come with a title. I could have sworn some of my Mx bikes, and 4 wheelers had titles but i could be mistaken. So does this sound like a good trade? or something to stay away from.. Thanks

Bikes usually have titles. I would have the police run the serial number. Or go to the dmv and see if they have a record. I would say the value is about the same for both.

A lot of the older bikes here in Oregon don't have titles any more. People don't want to spend the money to put them in their names. You just need a Off Highway Vehicle sticker and just need the vin for that.
