Hi guys, I am trying to reserect a Berg into a SuperMoto commuter and funds are tight. Along with everything else going on I am going to have to rebuild the stock DelOrto which I have torn down and cleaned.
I would love to go with an FCR conversion but that is going to have to wait. I have tweaked many Mikuni's over the years so I expect the DelOrto should be pretty straight foreward ?
My question is this - is anyone on this site selling a re-build kit or can recommend a favorable dealer? I really would like to cater to a UHE site member.
Any tips/tricks you would like to pass on would be great, I will take "easy to start and reliable service" over max power any day. I am reading the past posts now so if this has been covered feel free to flame me.

Regards !

Hi, Fuzzy....
I get my Dellorto parts from http://www.herdan.com, Port *******, PA. Telly is 1-610-562-3155. They are a Dellorto stocking dealer. Never had a problem not being able to get parts from them, and far less expensive than Sudco. Last time I bought parts (2010) pilot and main jets were $3.95,, K series needles were $9.96, gasket kits for my PHM40ZS were $13 to $15.
If ya need a major Dellorto resto, try the guys at Bevel Heaven, out on the west coast (I think). This is the link to their page : http://www.bevelheaven.com/productinfo.html

Hi Fuzzy

You can have a rebuid and tuning Kit from one UHE menber, its from Taff.

He has a site and on line ebay shop (TAFFMEISTERS), he will help you with that.

Thanks all, I appreciate the info.
I have just noticed the Nikasil bore plating has a ring of corrosion going around the middle of it so I guess the carb is on hold while attend to that. After cleaning it with soap and scotchbright you can see where it has gone through the plating and into the cylinder.
Blast ! :cuss:
I can handle the mechanical stuff, this one is out of my abilities and will have to contract that out. I would gather it will be cheaper to get a used cylinder :?
