2000 and prior sprocket set up

with the 1996-2000 bikes unable to get a lower cam chain sprocket I'm just checking but I'm sure that the Husky lower one from prior to 1996 will fit? later than this they went to the 219 chain the same as I use in my race cam chain and sprocket set-up.

15/30 then becomes 17/34 or 18/36 but all these are available. so don't let cam chains and their sprockets stop you from rebuilding these......

I'll let you know in the next few days if the lower sprocket (on the end of the crank) fits and if so then they all will and how and which you pick will be up to you.

with regards making the links close just right they are bound to be a little out but Husabergs can run with or without a base gasket under the cylinder and even a skim that leaves the piston a little nearer the head (and still clear at say 1.3+ mm) will be fine.

An update I await with bated breath!

Thanks for looking into this Taffy. I have a total of three old Husaberg engines and I want to keep them running for a long time. Two are 600's of about '96 vintage and one is a 501 of '95 vintage.

well there are a few then that appreciate what I'm trying to do! thanks mate! :D :D
