I think this is a 99-maybe....I've seen pics of this bike-by the current owner I believe and others on here before so I'm sure someone will be along shortly....

hey, thanks, thats one of my bikes and the reason I am asking, I bought it about 6 months ago, I am unsure though whether it is a '99 or its a '98 done up to be a '99 model,I am unaware of a '99 JSR,

I have the original tank and it is blue with fluro (97-98u) yellow colored shrouds on the tank, but the original sub-frame I have is painted silver?,

The bike has what is supposed to be a factory Aluminum tank and aluminum sub-frame but it may just be that someone has made them up for it as it has modified '97 Honda CR250 radiator shrouds on it, so I am trying to identify what year model it actually is and what it should look like

frame number is YU7FC6004X0JSR001 if anyone here can identify it by that.?

your bike is a 99 it has the pds wp shock the 98 had the lingage the tank looks to be one made by premer cycle i had one with the 97 honda shrouds . this bike was on ebay the owner said he built it to look like smets fc600

This bike was owned by the owner of Bendigo Dirt Bikes in Victoria. I am sure it had a alloy tank on it when i last saw it.
Give them a call (03) 54437474

Might be able to help you.

cheers Todd

Hi there
The alloy tank was purchased by Bendigo Dirt Bikes from Sutto's at Penrith and was built by myself.( Dukes Alloy Products)
During 1999 these tanks were used by the Sutto's race team and also by KTM Australia when they briefly raced the Husaberg at the Thumper Nats until there shipment of KTM 4 strokes arrived.
In 1999 ADB ( Australasian Dirt Bike) also ran a article on the Husaberg with these tanks fitted.
I'm currently running a similar tank on my 07 450 Berg in the Aussie off road series.
Cheers
