1998 fc 501 supermoto
Hi, here for sale is my 1998 FC501. Bought it as a project from a friend a few years ago to convert to a supermoto. Finished it last year but have no interest or need to use it on the road anymore, (KTM satisfies my needs now :devil:
).
Anyway I have spent £££'s building it and it has a V5 and is ready for an MOT.
Here is a list of what has been done/installed:
*Engine checked over & timing set by Taffmeisters.
*"Hot cam" camshaft with auto de-comp mechanism installed.
*IWIS heavy duty cam chain.
*Many new parts on rebuilt top end.
*Taffmeisters kickstart sledge.
*Headers wrapped with titanium heat wrap.
*Silencer repacked.
*Carb fully rebuilt.
*ARTEL silicon hoses.
*Brand new wiring loom.
*Trailtech Vapor dash.
*Goodridge carbonlook brake lines.
*New seat and panels.
*KTM LC4 front forks with Excel front rim.
*Brand new Continental Conti-sport SM tyres.
*Protaper handle bar.
*Nearly every nut and bolt now stainless steel.
*Every thing powdercoated.
Much more to list but have all receipts.
Runs well but needs a play around with carb jetting to be spot on but never had the time. Other then that ready for MOT.
