What do you guys think of this bike? I am looking for a bike to ride high mountain trails and rough terrain. I am 5'10" and 150 pounds.
I talked to the guy today and the bike seems to be in extremely good shape for its age.

Thanks for any feedback. I know very little of these bikes.

FC is a motocross version. I think the suspension will beat you up in really rough stuff. You could get that issue resolved though with suspension service/revalve. Looks good .... Buy it! Taffy says they are going up in price!!!

hard to believe the claims of that low of original un-rebuilt hours but still, id buy it, price is right even if it has a lot of hours imo.....

What would it take to get the suspension set up for trail riding? Approximate cost of the setup too? I would like to factor that into my budget. Does this bike have tractable power that is easy to manage on the trail?

Are these pretty reliable bikes? There is a 96 FE for sale in the same area that is in similarly good shape, but I have read those engines can be somewhat unreliable. Any truth to this?

Thanks again guys!!

1) Don't buy it without riding it. Give it at least 20-30 minutes riding it on similar terrain you want to ride. 2) Make sure you can start it hot and cold. It takes a knack to start them. If you have to kick start it every 15 minutes or so when riding, it can make for a really long day.
