Hey Guys ,
Looking at a 1997 FE501 ,
in pretty good shape,starter bad , motor not locked up , been setting up for many years ,anything to look for or be aware of ????

I think what Ned is trying to say is;

It's quite a chore to fix starter problems on a Husaberg of that vintage. It will quite likely involve splitting the cases and then you may find a broken part/parts that are no longer available or will cost more than you paid for the bike.
