I have been absent of this board for a long time, because I have moved from California to Austria a while ago and not been able to do a lot with my 97 FE501e.
To get an imported bike street legal here in Austria, it takes a lot of bureaucracy and money. A possible shortcut is to transplant the engine into an already legal frame, and exactly such a frame came up for sale recently.
Therefore my question: does the 1997 FE501e engine fit into an 2003 FE501E frame?
