1996 fc600 shifter

Howdy gang it's been awhile, I almost missed you
Well my shifter broke on my 1996 fc600 and with some serious searching I've come up with nothing compatible. I'm just wondering if anyone knows a place I can buy a shifter in North America before I try the Europe market. I hope it's not just a pipe dream, and I have to do something stupid like weld a piece of rebar to the spline lol.
Any help would be great love the bike just got it running after I rebuilt the entire top end!! She purrs like a tiger:spin:

Also one last thing motor heads. Does anyone know where to find air filters for this bike? It's seems I can buy cylinders, pistons, heads, cam chains, valves, but not a air filter lol?

Okay I have since located both air filters and shifter from the US and A.
but I'm always open for new info if anyone would like to share their websites (besides ebay), or places to look for hard to find berg parts
