1995 Fe 501 Help?

Does ANYONE know if I can use any later model years plastic on this bike. It doesn't have to be total bolt on, I can modify, if you know it's been done before. There's also some reference that an e-Start, was available for this year, does any know for sure. I realize that the left engine case, and assorted starter parts would have to be bought. It would be nice if any older (1995) Husaberg owners out there, could offer some informaton. I've scoured the net wothout much luck.

What plastic do you need, I have some used that is in good condition. I live in California.

Left and Right side panels, both radiator scoops, a rear fender, and a matching front would be nice. Can you do photos? and a price. Where in California, are you? Never mind I see your in Corona, just down the road. What year is the plastic off of? I'm formerly from Palm Springs.

I have a 94' FE 501 and share these two issues with you. i was looking for replacement plastics but i realized that I didn't really like the way they looked anyways so I'm in the process if finding plastics from other more current bikes that will fit. I Weould really like to know if you find anything out about converting to electric start. I know it was available i think it was the FC 501 though. Anyhow if you get any info on the conversion please let me know

Regarding Pre 2001 electric start engines:
Main engine cases, crankshaft and chassis are different between ES and non ES models. In addition the ES has a crankshaft driven balance unit from which the starter engages via an idler gear. Starter clutch is incorporated into the balance shaft.

A non ES engine will fit into an ES chassis with ease. The opposite requires major chassis modifications.

I have a 95 600 and also needed plastics for it. I found that euromotors has it for much cheaper than anywhere else ive seen. give em a call to see, they are very helpful in all Husaberg questions.
