Does anyone have a 1995 -1998 FEE Model (FE electric start, any displacement) with blinkers (All non-U.S spec models had blinkers I think).

I would like to see pics of the wiring, handlebar switches and anything else that relates to the street legal eqipment. If you already have pictures in your gallery please point me to it.

Thanks,
Eric

Some pics of my FE 98 in my gallery. the rear blinkers look stock, but are quick release detachable, which is not.

And I'm sure you have already down loaded the parts and shop manuals?

Here is the drawing I did of mine when I got it. I reckon it was pretty much original at the time.

Thanks Brad, I have a copy of this printed out. The 97 and 98's use the same wiring harness so its quite helpful.

I am trying to decide if it may be the best option to purchase (if available) a new complete wiring harness for a non U.S. spec bike for my dual sport project.

For some reason it appears the U.S. spec bikes did not come with street equipment wiring, blinkers, horn etc. Perhaps Husaberg wanted to appease the U.S. Dept. of Transportation by demonstrating that these bikes cannot be easily made street legal and are off road only.

Yes I do have the manuals. Are you still using the stock headlamp switch? There are not many pics of these bikes fitted with the stock street legal trim, at least not here in the U.S.

Are the headlamp and taillamp bulbs dual filament?

I have the whloe e start 95 501 you can have cheap. complete

If it came with lights, blinkers, horn etc. I am interested.

Do you live near San Diego? :)

All my electrics are still stock with the exception of a Sparks stator and the bayonet blinkers, which look stock. Hopefully the Sparks stator is the last of the 3 replacements to date. I had a voltage regulator go recently and Suttos got one in. Bulbs are dual filament, the taillight a normal tail/stop and headlight is a H4 halogen. FE, not FEE.

Thanks Steve. That all electrics are stock except the stator and reg. helps with the decision process.

The thing I like about the stock Husaberg dual sport wiring is that a headlamp relay is incorporated into the system whereas aftermarket / home made kits usually don't use a headlamp relay. Probably doesn't make a major difference but is noteworthy.
