I completely respect your testing, expertise and opinion
we mostly race on tight modified Go Cart tracks, we wear through peg sliders rather quickly... the common opinion in our race club is the 16.5 allows for more tire contact as does the 5" rear.....the fast guys down south (California) are actually going even wider for the rear....a couple of our guys are running 5.5" and claim to really like them......for me the set up I have now is working very very well....not to get off topic but I use Maxxiss rain tires on the clay tracks and like them alot...they are very soft and the front tire sticks very very well..... I run 17 psi at the front and 19 psi at the back, with the suspension softened up alot....I hope more tire companies build SM tires....Thank you for your post ! I have been on your site before and started drooling so much I had to log off
... I really like the European tracks and wish we had some similar here.....As for Carbon Wheels, I'd love a set....
