How much of a difference will there be between 15/40 and 16/40 gearing? I currently have 16/40 and bought a 15T C/S sprocket to try.

Is there a trick to getting the C/S sprocket off? I took the snap ring off but the 16T is so big that it hits the frame and will not slide off. What am I missing here?
I did it recently and remember having to remove , or at least twist out of the way the chain guide around the front edge of the swingarm . It definately livens the bike up and makes sixth gear more usable.

i made the switch from 15/40 to 16/40 (mostly road use) and love it even more!
it's still bloody fast and lively,still wheelies easy enough for me
for (shorter) track use i would go back to 15/40 combo,just my thought here on the subject.
