I recently bought a '10 FE570. Set up for off-road only. I wanted to set it up for dual purpose, so I ordered a wiring harness/ turn signal kit from Dr. Enduro.
His communication was spotty, and there was a significant delay in obtaining the kit, but it finally came last week and I had it completed this morning. The wiring and components are nice, and it was fairly easy to install. Started right up (as it always had). Lights work, switch works, turn signals work, horn worked but right after I pressed it and it sounded the bike abruptly quit running and won't start again! ARGH!
It's pretty crowded behind the headlight, so I took that off first and no obvious problems. No blown fuses under the seat. I can crank it and the lights/turn signals/horn all work while it's cranking, but won't start. And I noticed the speedometer also has no display (didn't note if it did before it stopped running, though I know it did before I started putting in the kit).
I've written to Gus at Dr. Enduro, and if history holds, he may or may not reply in a week or a month. It's on the trickle charger now.
