10.5 v 7.5 litre fuel tank

Have an 08 450 and the 10.5 litre tank. I like it for distance, but have noticed when cornering in soft sand the high up weight makes a handling problem. Also it is hard to slide up and grip the bike down low. For facing I am thinking of getting the 7.5 litre tank. Has anyone compared them? What are the allow tanks like compared to the 7.5 litre berg tank??

It feels similar to the "old" 9 liter tank.The aluminium tank from Omeromoto is much slimmer but has even less capacity.My 7,2 liter actually holds about 6,7.

very much if you want the best handling then the smaller tanks are the way to go though as long as you dont mind pretty low range.

ii think its not so much the less weight but actually the fact that you can get forward so much easier where as on the old tanks you really have to make an effort to slide all the forward on the tank.

i got an omero alloy one.
