1 year old stator went bad

Looking for the best source for a stator for my 01 470fx, I bought one new from motoexotica but it went bad this last weekend and left the bike dead on the trail.

yes have it rewound with sparks mate. it comes back better than new.

Your best bet is the new and improved electrex stator.They have two extra charge coils wound with thicker wire so they wont fail. i have fitted three of these to my bergs and notice that the engines stall a lot less are easy to start. There is a cdi and ignition coil available as well.The connectors are very good qualaity and the alternators put out great voltage.

Anyone else have experiance with Electrex stators on there Husabergs? I see from there web page that they are $100 cheaper then the Sparks re-wind.

I have found in my 55 years that you generally get what you paid for. The value is not always in the dollar figure only. AKA Walmart or Eletrrex
