Hi,
The wiring into the map switch connector has broken on me due to not enough slack. The bike is still running ( 09 fe570) and it seems to be in performance mode where i had it set, unless it reconfigures on start up.
It seems to be a sealed connector, is there any way of rewiring into the existing ?

Cheers,
Nick

Hi Nick
thats a bummer I removed connector restraint (thats orange piece of plastic) to identify
connector it looks like a yasaki terminal but I have to remove the connector to really
know which one it is
to crimp these connectors you will need a special crimpers
in next day or so I will try to identify the terminal

It reconfigures immediately, running or not. So yes, with the wire broken it's back to the standard setting.

Thanks, I have a mate with crimpers so i'll see if i can get connector apart and redo, then reposition map switch somewhere it cant get pulled as you cant operate the map dial on the fly anyway.
If not , i will get another lead and splice into the existing to make a longer one as the stock lead is too short anyway.

Cheers,
Nick

Hi Nick
I extracted the terminal this evening it not a terminal that I have, I think that it is a toyota terminal I have seen it before it might take while to source it
