I had read on this site that the front fender on the '09's were easily broken, and I discovered this personally this last weekend. The bike fell over while parked and the front fender folded under as it hit a rock. When I picked it up, I saw a six inch crack in the fender starting at the support bolt and going forward toward the front of the fender.
Two questions. One, are the replacement fenders of the same formula and consequently just as prone to breakage? Two, are there any after market fenders that are of the same design and color? I looked on the Polisport websight and it seems they may have one that works. Also, the OEM fender is right at $50 where the Polisport can be had for under $20.
