09 FE 570 chain size

just picked up a new 09 570 and the factory chain has stretched beyond the adjustment range, it is a 118 link and gearing is stock has anyone encountered this ? and will a 116 link fit with the adjusters all the way in ?
 
How many hrs on your chain Mine hasn't moved at all. Take a look at the adjusters though as mine are pretty far back from the factory I would be willing to bet you could flip the blocks and pull the wheel forward and be ok after removing a link
 
The stock chain and rear sprocket on my 09 fe450 was absolute garbage. The chain stretched beyond adjustment in no time at all. Put on a steel rear sprocket and a decent o-ring chain.....clean and lube it once in a while....very little stretch.
 
Really??? I have 26 hrs on mine and havent had to adjust mine yet. Mine is a 2010 but IDK if they changed the chain form 09-10 I keep checking mine thinking it will need to be adjusted but every time I look nope still @ 8.5 MM
