I stumbled across HTMOTO to put together a tall seat for my 09 FE 450. HTMOTO is located in Anaheim, CA. They have seat covers for all bikes - street, cruisers and moto. http://www.htmoto.us
They did not have a pattern for the seat cover for the 09-12 390-570’s. They used my seat as a pattern so now they have a template for seat covers for our bikes. I used the std. gripper material for the top of the seat and the carbon fiber material for the sides. I brought them a GUTS med. density tall seat foam to replace the stock seat foam; however they can provide the foam too. I also had them install their gel insert into the seat foam. Their website has a video showing the gel insert installation.
I wanted more of a standard shaped seat as opposed to an Adv. rider seat like Seat Concepts. HTMOTO was great to work with and the price was reasonable. I spoke with HTMOTO’s seat guy and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. They can do almost any type of seat that you want. Contact Julie and she can help you out.
