'08 FE550 Triple clamps

Hey guys,

Just picked up my first Husaberg, its a '08 FE550. I love it! but I let my buddy take it for a spin and he put it into a concrete wall and it ripped the top triple clamp apart and sheared the stem bolt right off! I was wondering what my options are for replacing the triple clamps. Looks like new from the dealer are really spendy. Any help or advice if much appreciated...Thanks!

Well does it matter what the cost is when it's not you who are buying?

Do some measuring and see if these will fit.

I'd call Rick Bozarth, he's in your neck of the woods. I'm sure if he doesn't have anything that fits, he'll know of a KTM tripple that cross references.

I have the Oem 22s from my 06 FE650.
No bearings. I would want $130 plus shipping.

They are the same clamps and direct fit.

Not sure if I have all the clamp bolts. No Castle nut. But an easy swap with your broken clamps.

I think he sheared the stem bolt?
So that would mean both clamps.

Well best of luck searching for aftermarket emskou.
There is none.
But a way to modify a Ktm clamp possibly

Im keeping these clamps.

But you can probably still get them new from Ktm.
I did. The 16/18 offset FS triples were over $400 without bearings.
But they were Billet!
Which is nice!

Thanks for your offer pollo, im just looking for some clamps that are more like new, as my bike only has 28 original hours on it. I want them to match the condition of the bike. Yours don't look bad but they don't look new either

Yeah I hear you.
But your talking about pre-09 Husaberg triple clamps.
They are cast. Most will have a weathered look.
If you can find them.
Otherwise, be like me and spend 3 times more for new Billet replacements.

I feel $145 shipped was reasonable. A little metal polish goes a long way.
Better I keep it anyway to convert back to enduro.
Those 09 clamps on ebay look nice and a good price.
Surprise us all by telling us they fit.

'07 and '08 Bergs had the billet triple clamps.

But we are also talking about dimensions here.
As in , do the 09s fit?
