Hey Guys,

I want to put some street tires on my berg and I dont want to spend much money on them. I have looked at rims and I dont think it will be worth the money to get some 17" I am thinking I want to just use the regular 140/80-18 and 90/90-21 configuration. I will switch out my tires when I want to offroad so I am wanting some on road tires that I wont chaw up on the pavement in town. Does anyone know of a place where I can get a pair for 100-150 dollars? If necessary I will go for intermediate enduro tires. Also, can 140/70-18 tires work out? I can find them on the cheap but I dont know if they will cooperate with my setup. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Get some Pirelli MT90A/T tires. I just did a 185 mile dualsport ride on Saturday and they worked extremely good!

Sorry about the late reply but it is summer.

I bought my bike out west and road 2600 miles cross country, 500 off road. When I hit South Dakota the D606 were shot. I stopped at a KTM dealer just outside Des Moines, Iowa. The dealer recommended the Kenda 270's.

I used them for about 4k miles of winter city riding and they were surprisingly great. They also worked acceptably well on urban adventures that covered dirt tracks and loose, big stone, gravel.

A set on sale will set you back around $100 over the net. I have an extra pair of them and the D606's for more off road focused fun. The 606's set me back 150 I think on sale. Both were picked up at Cycle Gear.

Hope I wan't too late with my two cents of experience.

Cheers!
