I'm 99% certain they will.
I have just fitted a set of SMR560 clamps to my 2004 frame and all I had to do was to add a thick washer over the top bearing to keep the dust cap off the frame. so the earlier frame tube may be 5mm taller. dead easy to get over though.
turning stops etc are spot on. why don't you let us know when you've done it and answer as well as ask?

I'm going to the local Husaberg store day after tomorrow with my frame to see if the 08-10 triple clamp really fits.

The 2008-2010 Triple clamp does NOT fit to the 2000-2008 frame
Very sad, but true.
08-10 Triple clamps bearing diameter is like 1mm-0,5mm off and the gasket is different (too big, doesnt go inside the frametube). Allso the 08-10 tiple clamps "main tube" diameter is bigger, so the 00-08 bearings cannot be used.
I think it could be modifyid to fit, but i wouldnt try. I allso tryid to find correct bearings with the right diameter from a local bearing store = No luck.
