Just bought my first Husaberg. Its a 2007 FS650E. This thing is a blast and I cant wait to take it with me next time I head to the track.
Couple quick questions. I am assuming the 07 FS650E is virtually the same as the FS650E's manufactured in a few other years. Any idea what years are the same to make my life easier when it comes to looking for parts? Also are there any good websites that you use that carry a fair amount of Husaberg parts?
My biggest concern currently is keeping it cool. Currently I've been playing around on the street and cruising to work on it but unfortunately traffic is terrible in my area and it is just a matter of time before I get caught in it. At one point in its life it did have a cooling fan (there are drilled holes in the radiator for it). Previous owner wasnt sure what kit it was. All he said was a universal KTM fan kit. I want to find a fan kit for a nice clean install but I can't find a kit that specifically says it will fit an 07 fs650e and I havent found anyone that suggested a kit specifically for the 07 fs650e. Would like something that plugs right into the stock connector that sits right on top of the motor. Im just hesitant to spend money on a kit that Im not certain will work. Any help would be awesome, thanks
