Been putting it off for ages but deciding to get it out of the way. After a bit of info on gear.
Main bearings: are skf ok or ntn better? Or is there better ones that will fit?
Crank and rod: anything to look for? Is it worth throwing in a new rod while I got it apart? If so what's good to get?
Piston and liner: are the liners easy enough to re-bore to a larger piston? Is there a ktm piston that will slip in?
Crank play: is .5mm good to work with, I can't see myself using the motor to its full potential and was wondering if this was a good ball park figure or if I should go more or less
Is there anything else I should really look at while its apart? Any tips and worthy mods would be greatly appreciated thanks
