here is an easy way to find tdc to check valve adjustments
put bike on a stand
take off tank
and valve covers
now take out spark plug
get a coat hanger and straighten it out
put bike in gear, now poke the wire hanger into the plug hole till it hits piston, now roll rear wheel and the wire will move, when it moves all the way up and
stops moving before it goes back down and that is tdc, now to make sure you at the right tdc watch this link to find the right rotation.
valve tappet gap should be .12mm or .005in
