Can any one say what they notice when riding between this years and last years suspension. Is this years really much better?

I was at the Reno dealers test/ride for 06 and I had my new 05 that was stack with about 5 hours on it and could not feel any change from the 05 550 and the 06 with multiple laps. I did notice that the 06 450 felt more plush than my 05 550 and more nimble. The big power of the 550 was probably the reason as horspower goes up the quality of the ride goes down most of the time.

this is only a hunch right!
i believe that KTM and husaberg now share the same shim stacks up front. kktm didn't change theirs between '05 and '06 so what do you reckon husaberg did?
i believe the rear shock had some changes. the other thing is that they make each change VERY little and very slowly!

The fork has some drastic changes, 44 springs, from 42, as well as shim changes. The fork is significantly better, and is balanced better front to rear.
Theere are slight and hardly noticeble changes to the rear.
Overall package is very good, handles smaller square edged bumps better with no deflection or jar reflected to the rider.
