I would like to get some info on a good base settting for jetting my 06 FE650.
It has an Akra silencer, standard headers and i was told by the previous owner that it has the standard jetting from new - what that is, i dont know.
Most my riding is mainly around sea level, anything from single track, to open forestry roads and occasionly put on my SM wheels for a bit of tarmac.
Im a bit worried it may be too lean, being std jetting with Akra silencer and dont want to risk engine damage.
For starters, i may raise the needle 1 clip to get me by.
From past experience (beloved 03 650), jetting was way out of whack from new and i am not famaliar with the Kehin carb on the 06.
Any advice would be much apreciated.
