My trip computer has been giving me grief lately. As soon as it's in the sunlight, it starts dropping segments of the LCDs from the display, randomly I might add. For example 49 kph will display properly but 99 comes out looking like 19 etc. The clock or tripmeter and what not suffers the same fate or fades until it's barely readable. I know LCDs are suseptible to failure from continued sun exposure, but I'm talking like 10 seconds. I tried replacing the battery, that made no difference at all. Anybody seen this happen before or have an ideas? (Besides replacing it!)

yeah .. same thing happened to mine .

husaberg replaced it for free , and it was out of warranty .

What model Vapor did you fit to your 'berg? And what bike are you useing it on? I want to do the same thing for my '05 FS650E.....just can't figure out which model will work best (100, 101, or 102?).
