Hi guys.
Bike in Question is my 05 FS/E 450.
I've experienced a glitch to the norm "slack clutch feel" issues. I have my suspicion but, thought I'd ask first.
First. From day one, Owning the bike. The bike had a lot of 'Clutch drag' I figured the Discs where close to being replaced, so lived with it for a while.
Time came I replaced all the Clutch discs/steels. Before replacing the old Discs/steels, I Checked my Basket for galling and all seemed fine. Old Discs seemed to be fine too. But as I had the New discs/steels I may as well use them. Never bothered to measure the old steels.
Bled the Clutch line, Going up. And I now simply have no clutch feel at all! I figure I'll replace the Magura Plunger/spring/seals along with the Bottom Slave 'O' Ring.
Now, what has me thinking I'm about to find this wont solve my problem (completely) is that. When I pulled off the Slave, There was no pressure holding the Slave piston back. I expect that there is a rod back their in the Bearing (fitted into the cases) that should offer some resistance to the slave piston when placed back onto the cases, am I right?
Thanks in advance.
